Data deletion instructions
If you would like MyDirector AI to delete your data, including any data we received from Meta (Instagram), follow the instructions below.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data:
- 1Log in to your MyDirector account at app.mydirector.ai
- 2Navigate to Settings
- 3Click Account
- 4Click Delete account
- 5Confirm deletion when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
Submit a deletion request by email
If you cannot access the app, or prefer to request deletion by email:
Timeline
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax or fraud-prevention records).
Instagram-derived data (profile data, media metadata, analytics, comments, messages) is deleted within 30 days of an account or connection deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and credentials
- Uploaded assets and raw footage
- Generated clips and interview recordings
- Instagram-derived data (profile data, media metadata, analytics, comments, messages)
- All analytics records associated with your account
- Publishing logs and scheduling data
Deletion confirmation
We will send you an email confirmation to your account email address when your data deletion is complete.
