2. Essential (functional) cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the MyDirector service. Without them, the app cannot function. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie / token | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-auth-token | Supabase authentication session | Session / 7 days |
csrf-token | Cross-site request forgery protection | Session |
3. Affiliate / referral cookie
When you arrive through a link shared by one of our affiliate partners, our affiliate provider (Tolt) sets a single first-party cookie so that, if you later subscribe, the partner who referred you receives credit. This cookie stores only a random referral identifier — it does not contain your name, email, or any personal profile, and it is not shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tolt_referral | Attributes a referral to the affiliate partner who sent you | Up to 30 days |
This cookie is only set while our affiliate program is active. You can remove it at any time by clearing cookies in your browser; doing so does not affect your ability to use the service.
4. Analytics cookies
We do not use general analytics or product-tracking suites (such as Google Analytics) on this site. The only measurement technology we use is the Meta (Facebook) Pixel described in section 5, and only with your consent.
5. Advertising & measurement (Meta Pixel)
With your consent, we load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel so we can measure how our advertising performs, understand which campaigns lead to sign-ups, and reach people likely to be interested in MyDirector. The Pixel is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.; it sets cookies in your browser, and the data it collects is shared with Meta and may be used for ad measurement, optimisation, and retargeting.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta Pixel — identifies the browser for ad measurement & delivery | Up to 90 days |
_fbc | Stores an ad-click identifier to attribute conversions (set when you arrive from a Meta ad) | Up to 90 days |
The Meta Pixel is off by default and loads only after you accept marketing cookies. Visitors in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked to consent first, so the Pixel does not run for them unless they accept. You can reject it at any time using the “Cookie preferences”link in the footer — using the site is not affected either way. For how Meta processes this data, see Meta’s Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy.
6. Your choices & consent
Visitors in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a cookie banner on their first visit and asked to consent beforeany marketing technology — the affiliate referral cookie (section 3) and the Meta Pixel (section 5) — is loaded. You can Accept all, Reject all, or open Preferences to choose per category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and if you reject, neither the affiliate cookie nor the Meta Pixel is set (and any existing ones are cleared).
You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. The strictly-necessary cookies in section 2 are always active and cannot be disabled, as the site cannot run without them. You can also control or clear any cookie through your browser settings; clearing essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the MyDirector app.
